Been continuously owning and using mac's since I bought the first one (128K) about a month before the 512K was announced. 1982 I think. Now, decades later, Apple business practices are making me learn to repair and upgrade my Macs and the other Apple products that actually need to have batteries replaced - go figure. Have always loved the products, am adjusting to the new, more profit driven corporation and ifixit is the plea to acquire the info necessary to accomplish what should be routine maintenance for less than several hundred dollars.
