    I use a screw tray like this one. I cut up some paper and label each compartment as I remove the screws from the device I am working on. Having a tray with a lid is a good idea as if you take a break from the repair you can snap the lid down knowing that if it is disturbed or knocked over the hardware will at least stay inside the tray.
