Origins ¶

Born and raised in the illustrious San Jose, California, Matthew sought to live simply. From playing the trumpet to picking his nose, he furnished his lifestyle with feats of dignity and grace. At the age of 18, he started a band which was an immediate smash success. Defeating 80 other bands from the Bay Area in a Battle of The Bands competition, his group, Tribe, won a free recording session at a professional studio along with 500 free CDs.

The fame was more than he could bear. Thus, a year later, he fled the Paparazzi and toured the world disguised as a commoner. During his three month expedition—during which he explored Hong Kong, Thailand, India, Kyrgyzstan, and Denmark—he kept a correspondence with a lovely young peasant and violin virtuoso, named Anna Tornincasa, who left an indelible mark upon his young, impressionable soul.

The Academy ¶

Shortly after returning to his home country, Matthew moved south to the beautiful shores of San Luis Obispo, where he took up such manly activities as schooling, biking, and prospering as a human being.

Not more than a year after moving to San Luis Obispo, he coaxed the lovely and elegant Anna to attend Cal Poly, where they both excelled in their respective studies. Matthew graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's in Philosophy, and Anna followed a year later in graduating with a bachelor's degree in the challenging field of study, Soil Science.

Blessed Matrimony ¶

Less than one month later, they were wed in the idyllic See Canyon Fruit Ranch and thereafter spent three weeks soaking up the sun and savoring the spicy cuisine of Thailand. Today, they enjoy the simplistic life of raising (three) chickens, gardening, brewing their own beer, and playing music together. They hope one day to own their own small organic farm.
