    If you hadn't turned it on you could have dried it out fine, Because you have turned it on when wet you will have shorted it out somewhere which will cause permanent damage to the touch, I dropped my old iPhone in the bath dried it out in rice and with a hairdryer for a week and plugged it in and bam one clean dry iPhone, my mrs did the same thing but in a puddle with her iPhone, tried to turn it on and nothing but a light, screen lit up white, I dried it out the same way I did mine and it was not good, couldn't get it repaired due to damage so had to buy a new one
