    An even cheaper solution I learned from R/C modeling days is to use an egg carton. These can be found in 12 and 30-egg sizes, and the supply is practically limitless! Another good use for the 30-egg size is as sound insulation on budget recording rooms. The irregular surface makes sound reflection off the walls virtually non-existing. Try it; works great!
