Answer to: MacBook not turning on, hard drive beeps once, dead?

Im having the same problems (no booting and low-volume hardisk beep after 1sec followed by complete switch-off) After spending some time with the "genious" i was advised to get a new logic board and wanted to get your suggestions on the matter. I have tested the RAM module and seems to notice the absence of the RAMboard. Can you indicate any other possible tests I could preform to identify the origin of the problem? Thanks in advance
