    Personally, I'd set it on medium, and do it a little at a time, checking to see if it will come apart easily every so often.
  • Answer to: This generation is harder to put on a speaker dock

    The Apple 30-pin dock connector hasn't actually changed in design in years, might not even have been changed since the 1st iPod. Anyway, the actual size of the port hasn't changed, it's more likely to be the shape of the iPod. The 4th gen is more square than the 2nd/3rd gen, so it might just be that the iPod itself doesn't fit properly anymore.
