Exactly, I just soldered in a cable to a ground point. The one side of the resistor also leaded to ground. -Kentsfield -

I fixed this problem by replacing the dead 7805 IC which turns the incoming 9 volt to regular 5 volt. This part was blown up and only cost 0.30 € Cent. -

Answer to: Won't Power Up, No power light.
Check the F1 and F2 Fuses. They really often blow up, then the DS won't boot anymore. When they're blown: 400mA Fuses, SMD. Good luck! -
Answer to: How do I put on my home button?
You don't Need to. When you Cut of the plastic pins, you can stick the metal plate with the Home button back on it. The Metal plate is covered in Glue, Believe me - It will hold ;)
