    Hey mayer, thanks a lot! I took my iBook on a camping trip today and left it in the freezing cold overnight, and this morning it wouldn't turn on at all! I did get a reaction when I performed a PMU reset but it still wouldn't power on, the charger worked and the battery charged as well, but after I tried your solution it suddenly powered up again! My gratitude is infinitely big!

    the iBook G3 12" keyboard does work and fit in the iBook G4 12" but the keyboard cable for the iBook G4 12" is shorter so you can't fit a G4 12" keyboard in an iBook G3 12". You can, however, fit an iBook G4 14" keyboard in an iBook G3 12".
