    Thanks...I was looking around...I needed/WANT to have one so I dont have to use the main Superdrive. I wish I can burn 2 discs at once! And I was interested in getting one that does the lightscribe...Mac doesnt support it :(

    hello: Did you follow the manual or just cloned the HD. Sometimes cloning doesnt work...You probably need to install the orginal HD back with the original OS. And read the MacBooks manual. The process is about erase and format it to the native software. I installed a Western 1TB HHD a few days in my 13" PRO & it worked awesome!! B4 that, Last yr, I installed a 320GB on my PowerBook G4 17", worked fine too... NO CLONING - Erase & Reformat. I know that putting files back in the computer It takes time, just be patience. Took me a day to not fill the 1TB HHD :0

    Thanks for your replies: I know that only CD-Rs/DVD-Rs discs work. I did do the air can blasting...nothing. Maybe I do need a New Superdrive. Yet, I was shopping around for a new MacBook anyways...:0
