    james dont listen to anyone. the cord that u have the one wit 2 pins provided wit the us ps3 use that only. it works perfectly fine. i use it in india wit a voltage supply of 220v and its wrking perfectly fine.

    its true. i live in india and i bought a ps3 cech 2001a( aka slim) from us. no need to change the power cable. just plug it in and enjoy. :-)
