    @tabormeister I have completly same problem with yours. I have replace the click wheel still it does not work. I cannot log on diag menu but I can restart (select+menu). And I can wake the ipod up while press the any button. Sorry for my english. Regards.

    I have that problem with the 4g nano. I have replaced the click wheel but it does not working. I have test the click wheels (both of them new and old) on an other 4g nano and they are working. I can do hard reset with the click wheel. And I can open ipod up when press the buttons. But it cannot respond after the ipod turned up. I can not login the diag. menu!! Sorry for my english. Regards.

    The screen is white? If the screen is white you can try to restart (menu+centre button). I have had 3rd gen nano replace the screen after the white screen appear. I restrated iPod then works fine.
