    Most Likely you did something wrong when you replaced your display, did you mess with anything else BUT the screen when you replaced the display ? Try backtracking on what you did and reassemble your phone and try it again, you never know it you dont try.

The obvious is that it doesn't matter what Operating System you have, yes you should have the proper printer drivers installed if you are legible to scan with no issue. When you always have issues with your computer or Printer always and i mean always go to the manufacturers website. Brother in this case, in alot of printers maintenance is a must and temporary you should clean the cartridges.
