Thanks!! I ended up using a very small piece of scotch tape. It's all working fine!!!

Installing iPod 5th Generation (Video) Display
I skipped this step and used a small piece of scotch tape to hold the display in place. One less tricky ribbon to reattach!
I also skipped step 16 and left the "fragile" ground wire attached.

I didn't separate the board from the metal frame. I just created enough space at the edge with the click wheel attachment to get it out and put the new one in. When installing the new on I used the small iPod tool to keep the board slightly separated from the frame.

When reinstalling the new click wheel mine had no adhesive on the ground wire. I solved by using a small piece of tape that I further trimmed with an exacto knife.
