the RAM brand is hynix. Has 2 1GB sticks and doesn't seem to have any white residue or corrosion on the stick itself.

Ok..so I couldn't wait.. so I took out the HDD..connected it externally thru a usb hdd enclosure. Windows 7 installed the driver but I can't see the disk on My Computer or access it.

I'm thinking of ordering the spudger. I was thinking of order the heavy duty spudger... or should I just order the normal. Will either of the spudgers work for this DIY?
