    G3 12" iBook 600 MHz.

If the display still works and I don't wish to purchase a whole new Display setup, are there separate guides to replace. It just looks like the Display is separating in these areas: Front Display Bezel [in the center, where it says iBook], The clutch cover [wires starting to show from each end of the "horse shoe shape"] and Rear Display Bezel [the cover is separating in the center]. In honest opinion would it be smarter and more economical in the long run to just replace the whole display, or is it still salvageable seeing as though it works. I've stopped using the laptop since seeing it start to fall apart, honest ouchies on my part fell asleep with it on the bed and crash...yeah i know right.

This will be my first attempt at replacing/fixing parts on it. If all goes well here, I'm going to look at attempting the upgrades found within this sight. Hard drive and Optical Drive. Also will have to be purchasing a new battery and Adapter, thinking the batteries are just shot, will allow use of the laptop while its plugged in once unplugged the battery warning shows not even 5 minutes afterward saying low battery blah blah.

Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks ahead of time to whoever answers, if there are already threads on this exact topic sorry for posting on subject again. a Link to that thread would be awesome! cheers.
