    a month ago rain got into my mac through an open window, while i was charging it up. when i came back the screen was off, i took out the battery and left it to dry for about a month. after that, my white macbook is working fine if plug in. everything seems to be ok. except that i do not get battery support. i took it to Apple service centre, off hand without technical examination they claim that i have to change the mother board. we have substituted another battery which eliminate the cause as due to damaged battery. could the problem likely be the battery connector. is there anyway to test if the battery connector is faulty before replacing it. best regards

    thanks for your advice Ralph. i will test them. anyway i took the MB to external mac repair shops, they are of the opinion it is down to either damage maglite connector or change the Mother board itself. because it is working fine right now with direct cable power sans battery support.
