I have replaced the lcd and still the same trouble. can see the screen with external light but not working on the lcd. also im looking for the little gold u clip that screws to the bottom with the home button to ground it to the board. It broke and outside of buying someones broken ipod and scavaging, i dont know where to look. I think i will put it back together and take it back to apple. I bought it in jan 09.
