Students, stay-at-home parents, and entrepreneurs are all joining in to fix phones for their friends and locals, while making good profit for themselves. Apple sold 37 million iPhones in the 4-month holiday season of 2011, and while many of those phones get fixed every day, even more are simply thrown out. With the help of this tool kit, you could be making those phones run like new. By the time you’ve fixed five phones, this kit will have paid for itself!
You don’t have to be a repair technician to find this kit useful. This kit is also great for anyone who has a phones, tablets, and laptops around the house. Our 54 bit toolkit and the various poking, prodding, opening, measuring, and grabbing tools that come with it will keep all your home’s electronics in working order.
This kit is great even for non-electronics. The small bits are great for doorknobs, eyeglasses, cabinet doors, sink fixtures, and more. If you are looking for a great addition to an artists or hobbyist's tool chest, look no further. The prying tools are great for sculpting clay and other materials.
In addition to our thousands of repair professional and home tinkering customers, this kit has become very popular with domestic and international top secret intelligence agencies with three-letter names we can’t name here. Oh, and we’ve also sold kits to some computer company named after a fruit (not a pear or orange) and many of their competitors use the kits internally.

My Problem
power button on my iphone 4s was stuck and would not depress or click anymore, odd since the phone had been in a defender series otterbox it's whole life...
My Fix
ended up disassembling the whole thing, and soon after i got the culprit out, i wonder how the thing ever even worked in the first place. the button hardly even had a detent on it large enough to depress the contact... ended up putting a tiny drop of glue on the button, just big enough that when it hardened it gave me a larger bump that would hit the contact and put the phone to sleep... works great now!
My Advice
make sure you have approximately 3 hours, and i'd advise getting the iphone liberation kit since those pentalobe screws strip so easily~
also, make sure the work area is well lit, and you have some sort of system to remember which screws went where
My Problem
So, I had this old iPhone 3G back from 2007 that I gave to my mother, but a couple of years ago I happened to fall while skiing on the Alps and the display got damaged (it had an expanding stripe of broken pixels) by the shock and/or snow getting inside. Apart from that, the battery didn't last as long as new, so I finally decided to take it apart and give it a good fix!
My Fix
Removing the display assembly was really easy, apart from the last cable (I missed the bit of the guide about having to open the plastic clip before removing the cable!). I also found that the right screwdriver to remove the screws was the Philips #000, at least for me (whereas in all guides they recommended a Philips #00). Replacing the battery was much more fiddly, but in the end I made it. If I should do that again, it would be much easier than the first time.
My Advice
Be careful not to break the golden ground pin on the side when removing the motherboard.
My Problem
Many problems and many more.
My Fix
:)
My Advice
My humble suggestion would be an addition to your already encompassing toolkit. A nice pen. Perhaps a Zebra F-701. I think that would be an excellent addition to your kit.
My Problem
My 2010 MacBook Pro was running out of space from its stock 320GB 5400rpm. It was also getting slower and slower as the free space was running out. Boot times were taking much longer than they should and some apps would take their time loading. So I bought an SSD to solve the issue.
My Fix
With the Pro Tech Tool kit and the guides provided by iFixit, the installation and of the new SSD was a breeze. These tools are nicely made with bits that secure really well into the driver with magnetic force.
My Advice
Just take your time and try not to drop a screw inside the laptop. Other than that, it was super easy.
My Problem
make peoples day
My Fix
very good
My Advice
try it your self or bring it to someone that can do it for less than half of the price of the manufacture cost
My Problem
J'ai utilisé 2 iPhones 3GS :
- le premier avait avec la batterie HS
- le second avait l'écouteur HS
J'ai donc réparé le premier avec les pièces du second
My Fix
La réparation s'est déroulé sans problèmes.
Même si le démontage des appareils est délicat
My Advice
Il faut faire attention lorsqu'on soulève l'écran pour ne pas arracher le câble de l'écran en tirant trop fort.
My Problem
iPhone 4S screen was broken and it was only worth $70 with the trade-in program at AT&T. With a non broken screen, they gave me $200 trade in.
My Fix
Easy as pie! Back screen was busted, I had a parts iphone that went through the wash. Replaced it in two minutes with my AWESOME new tool kit.
My Advice
Try to fix it yourself, I just had an iPad screen replaced and it cost me 100 bucks. I could've done it myself with this toolkit and pay only 30 bucks for the part. It's definitely not rocket science.
My Problem
needed the screen on my daughter's iphone replaced.
My Fix
got the kit for a friend so he could fix it ...I had NO idea replacing an iphone screen was so fiddly!! Wow...He said he could NOT have done it w/o this tool kit, so it was totally worth it. (We split the cost...so i got a great repair and he got an awesome tool kit...for a nice low price!) Now he has the kit for ALL his electronic fiddling...and he does a LOT!
My Advice
1) get this tool kit...it's totally worth it!
2) replacing a screen isn't as easy as it sounds.
3) have a lot of UNINTERRUPTED time (you don't want to lose your place...trust me)
4) Don't have cats walking through the repairs
5) expect it to take 2-3 hours if you've never done it before.
My Problem
I phone 1 Would not take a charge (number of time)but several weeks later after allowing to drain it took a full charge and have not yet therefore changed the battery. Have received all items, excellent service next day delivery. Thank you.

My Problem
I have two iPhone 3GS with a broken screen and a battery that drains almost instantly after a full charge. Decided to give it a try fixing after watching some videos on the site.
My Fix
It didn't go as smoothly as compared to the video - but was able to find a way to put things back in order.
My Advice
The replacement battery that I've got will not fix easily on the sides as compared to the original battery. It will not align properly and is slanted so I spent sometime figuring out how to make it align to the sides. But to no avail. I left it at a slanted position but was glad that it worked.
Just hope that the parts are the same as the original. Easy to fix back and will not give you trouble.
