in this guild you will learn that before mp3 player people actually bought there own music! whats even funnier is that you could safely make a copy for a friend and not be under a copyright infringement. also if you fallow the instructions it should still work.

Add Note Edit Step 1 — Sony walkman wm-4 Teardown  ¶ 

  • The Sony Walkman 4.

  • Now turn your Walkman to it's back and take out the batteries. Also at this time you may unscrew all of the screws on the surface.

  • All the screws are in red.

  • The batteries compartment is in blue.

  • Now you may flip over your Walkman and open the cassette holder. Notice the two screws i assume that you know what to do, unscrew them.

  • After you unscrew those screws you can now open the device by gently moving it back and forward.

  • The small blue square is the place where the tab is.

  • Use your plastic opening tool or sharp knife to push in the little tab.

  • From here you may reassemble the Walkman or search for errs it might have.

  • also one thing to keep in mind go slowly when you open it or you can just rip out the old wires and attach new ones.
