Edit Step 1 — Samsung GT-E2120 Teardown ¶

Here it is! The Samsung GT-E2120. Its not very exciting, but lets crack it open anyway!
Whenever opening a device its always goo to ground yourself!

Edit Step 2 ¶

First on the check-list is to slide open the back cover.
Then the battery was taken out along with the sim card and Micro-SD card
This phone can take up to a 2GB Micro-SD card and is great for storing music. It even has a FM radio!

Next the screws were removed. These are Philips #00 size screws.

Edit Step 4 ¶

For this step a matal spudger was used to release the clips along the bottom, top, and sides of the phone.
These clips can be found at these point marked in red.
There may look like a lot of clips, but working from the top down, gently prying at the case they are easily dislodged.

Edit Step 5 ¶

When the bottom of the phone was reached it was a bit harder to pull the bottom clips off.
This can be made a tad easier by using the pointed end of the spudger to get in and under the case.
Once this is lifted up slightly you can get enough purchase under the clip and lift it off.
Be careful so that you dont damage the motherboard!
