We are going to remove all lenses .Not any special tool required ,lenses are kept in place by simple screw support.

Add Note Edit Step 1 — The telescope  ¶ 

  • Here is the telescope with case.

  • Now the lens covers are removed and thumb screw(left to the eye piece lens cover) also which locks the inner tube for fixed focus.

Add Note Edit Step 2  ¶ 

  • Now we are going to remove the objective lens .

  • You can see a ring supporting the lens so turn it anticlockwise .

  • Avoid damage the lens while turning the ring.

Add Note Edit Step 3  ¶ 

  • Lets focus on eyepiece part.

  • Once again just turn the plastic cap like screw and you will get one lens of eyepiece mechanism.(In the image you can also see the thumb screw which is used to lock inner tube position)

  • Now point the open end of inner tube downwards,you will see a plastic cylinder.

Add Note Edit Step 4  ¶ 

  • Now removing the cylinder you will get one more convex lens.

  • repeating the previous step you will see more cylinder and lenses (watch the image)

  • All the cylinder and lenses in the image are in the steel tube next to them .

  • Finally the telescope is disassembled .
