iMac Wheel of Death

My Problem

Every time I would boot the iMac (Early 2008), I would get the spinning wheel of death. I could boot from the CD, but the drive was not able to be formatted or repaired using Disk Utility. Plus, it would occasionally go clunk, and then spin back up again. I needed these to remove the front glass and install the new 1TB hd.

My Fix

Went flawless. Used the iMac repair guide found here, and everything went smooth. These work much better than trying to use floor tile suction cups from my data center.

My Advice

These are worth the hassle of trying to find another way of attempting to remove the glass on all in one computers!
