My Problem
Girlfriend dropped her iPhone 5 and cracked the screen and killed the digitizer.
My Fix
The directions were very clear and made the process simple enough. The hardest part was getting the home button contacts off. I used a bit of heat from a hair dryer, but I didn't want to burn anything, so I didn't use too much. I should have used more because I almost ripped off the contacts. After getting past that point, the rest was easy.
My Advice
If I had to do this again, I would either buy that heat roll thingy the girl used in the video, or I would take my time with a hair dryer to make sure I loosened up the adhesive more.
