250GB HDD to 1TB Solid State: My Speed and Storage Are Back!

My Problem

Original factory 250GB HDD was reaching max capacity. This was causing massive slowdown.

My Fix

Super easy. iFixit helped tremendously. Plus, the drill bit kit that comes with will be useful for years to come. And now I have the original in the external HD enclosure so my girlfriend can use it to back up her Mac.

My Advice

Follow the instructions to a T and you can't go wrong.
