My Problem
The problem with my iPhone 4s was that i had no idea the battery was swollen. I would charge it to 100% and right after it would die. The only way my phone would stay on would be at a constant charge. I bought a Mophie Juice Pack to keep my phone on at all times. Being that sometimes it would just shut off I thought it was time for a new phone. Being that i did not want to dish out money for a new phone i came across ifixit.
My Fix
The repair was a success. It took no longer than 20 min and right after i took out the old swollen battery the new one was great and lasted almost a day & a half without charge. I'm glad i found the ifixit website.
My Advice
Previously to buying any kit and tools to do the repair i found it best to watch videos concerning your problems. Get familiar with all the visual picture and videos so that when the day comes and your tools arrive to do the repair it feels like second nature and you will repair it with ease.
