My Problem

Needed to replace the battery in my MacBook Air Mid 2011. The Apple store wanted to charge too much to replace it. The battery would not hold a charge.

My Fix

The repair was easy with the right screwdriver. You need the 5-Point Pentalobe P5 screwdriver to remove the bottom cover. To remove the battery you can use a T5 Torx screwdriver.

My Advice

Don't waste time going to Lowe's, Home Depot or any other hardware store. I went to all of them even online. Some have never heard of it. This was the place to buy it.
