My Problem

After all of the trouble getting my AT&T phone unlocked so that I could use it on a trip to England and avoid AT&Ts extortion rates of $1.50 per minute, I found that I only had a land line, as the phone would not work unless plugged in.

My Fix

Fairly smoothly. I was amazed at the battery looking like an overstuffed pillow when it came out. It bent the logic board, but the phone now works great, and the battery I bought from iFix it, although expensive, seems to have excellent capacity. Reading the 1-star reviews on any of the Amazon batteries, they seemed to be used ones.

My Advice

It went pretty well, I do wish, however that there was a better closeup of connector 3, with a vivid description of the different kinds of connectors. I tried to pry it up as I didn't know that this particular one was the type where you pull the ribbon straight out. Testing, pulling up with the spudger caused me to crack the connector. Luckily, the phone works great though.
