My Problem
Replaced iPhone 4 battery. Couldn't hold a charge any longer.
My Fix
Things went far easier repair than expected with this repair. The video I watched on Youtube made it look somewhat tricky. The guy needed the metal spudger to pry up the battery. He took out screws not required for the repair. For me, it was no harder than replacing a watch battery. The kit tools were all that was needed. Open the case, gently free up the battery, set one board, replace one screw, close the case. You're done. The phone works fine now and holds a charge.
My Advice
With watches and tiny boards you have to be very gentle. Don't squeeze small screws too hard or they fly away. Don't be afraid to embark on a repair adventure, however; we all have to start somewhere.
