My Problem
iPhone 4 buttons are notorious for breaking. We tried using the "assistive touch" function found in settings. Although this floating home button allows you to continue to use your phone, it is EXTREMELY ANNOYING!
We decided to take the plunge and attempt our own repair.
My Fix
IFIXIT came to the rescue!
My Advice
With the use of the IFIXIT Driver Kit and On-Line guide, we were able to replace the dysfunctional home button quite easily.
We used a plain piece of white paper to organize and label all parts.
We carefully followed all directions, and voila....
I have a new, fully functional home button!
