My Problem
E-74 error, and it's not fixed. That is the problem. Bought and installed kit and got 2 days of use out of xbox before it stopped working again. I got the same result before the kit install by sticking Allen wrenches in the fans and over heating the machine, pulling wrenches out waiting for fans to go quiet then restarting.
My Fix
As far as the guide and parts I got from Ifixit, everything was spot on. Repair was very easy, just didn't fix my problem. I'm probably still gonna use ifixit again in the future.
My Advice
Just be gentle and careful. You don't wanna make your problem worse by breaking something else.
