Friend dropped her I-Pad

My Problem

Screen was is a million pieces.

My Fix

The repair went well once I removed all the tiny bits of glass However it does not work...I swipe my finger across the screen to unlock it and nothing happens...HELP....redone connections and it works perfectly. Thanks IFIXIT.

My Advice

Glass does fly...wear eye protection
