My Problem
was running out of hard drive space warranty was up and it seemed like it was time.
My Fix
easy, simple, exactly as the I-Fixit repair guide illustrated.
the hard-drive transfer shell worked superbly to get info off of hard drive and onto new drive.

My Advice
i didn't use the stick included in the kit. i wasn't sure what that was for.
