My Problem
Suddenly my macBook Pro didn't see the internal hard disk anymore. All USB disks worked fine. So after a quick google search iFixIt had the right fix at a price that was way under an Apple repair.
My Fix
This repair was easy! I bought the hd cable without the bracket saving $10. Using the old bracket and pealing off the old cable was as easy changing a light bulb. Anyone with a steady hand can do this. Putting the cable back an pealing off the tape to glue the cable to the unibody took 3 minutes. the whole operation took 15 minutes.
My Advice
Make sure you buy the right cable. There is a difference between the 15" and the 13" and the are not compatible!.
