My Problem
I need to back up the hard drive because the Logic Board needs to be replaced. The Mac Store recommended I back up the hard drive before they perform the repairs "just in case."
My Fix
The Wondercable worked just fine. I was able to hook it up to the hard drive and another MacBook. The external drive mounted on the desktop; however, I was unable to see the contents of the drive, so I was unable to back it up. At this point, I am stumped.
My Advice
If anyone knows what I am missing, I'd appreciate the info. It is my wife's MacBook I am trying to back up, and I'd really like to remain married after the whole repair process is complete.
