My Problem
Had the IPOD in my pocket whilst riding my Harley softail and damaged the headphone jack. The sound was only coming out of the left earpiece so I tried a piece of speaker wire inside the jack. This did not work so I google it and came up with this site.
My Fix
For me it tested my patience separating the ipod case but with time it came apart. repair was tedious for me as I have the patience of a Knuck. but it worked
My Advice
Yeah be bloody patient when doing the job.
