My Problem
IO Board broke because pB dropped on the magsafe plug ;; ripped the connecters of the IO Board & blew some circuit.
My Fix
Part arrived before promised ship date; with the on-line guide replaced the board; reset PRAM and SMC and all is fine again. Very smooth dealing with Ifixit ... kudos' !!
My Advice
no as difficult as I thought it would be
