A1229 left fan replacement

My Problem

The left fan on our MacBook Pro 17" A1229 was making a lot of noise.

My Fix

Following your guide made the process extremely easy and fun to complete for someone who has never worked on a computer before. It took me about an hour from start to finish. The most difficult step for me was #16 because you cannot pull on the wires at all.
