macbook pro DC-In board replacement

My Problem

Pulled the power cord (tripped over it) and unlucky the macbook landed on the tile floor right on the powercord plug (while still in the macbook) this shoved the DC-in connector inside the casing, also denting the casing. Macbook would not charge the battery or run on A/C after that.

My Fix

Through ifixit video i was able to remove the old DC-in board and replace it with a new one I ordered from them.

My Advice

I had to leave the DC-in board unscrewed because the damage recessed the screw-holes too far in not allowing for connection with powercord male. It sits loosely inside but the magnet on the powercord male moves it too connection. It works now.
