My Problem
SSD in laptop but wasn't using the laptop much anymore. Needed the speed of my SSD in my mac mini which gets heavy everyday use.
My Fix
No rogue ravens! Repair went smoothly. It's slightly nerve-racking but nothing that's too difficult. Going slowly and following the instructions it took me a little less than an hour.
My Advice
The SATA connector in the Dual Hard Drive Kit comes pre-bent at the proper angles. Almost a page of the instructions is spent describing how to bend the ribbon cable properly - which was not needed and was only confusing since the cable came bent at the proper locations.
Keep track of your screws. I kept mine in order from first out to last out and then followed the directions backwards to put everything back together.
