My Problem
Add 3rd party SSD to MacMini.
My Fix
The Good:
It worked well. 2nd drive in place and everything is humming along nicely. I doubt I would have been able to do it without the iFitIt guide and kit. Great job.
My Advice
The Bad:
- Why do I have to purchase the tool kit just to get the drive cable? So I have to buy a $15 bit driver everytime I add a new drive?
- Putting the antenna plate back in was a bit tricky. There is tiny lip that has to mesh with the case correctly. It comes out very easy, so you might not notice while taking apart. The guide doesn't mention it. You can't really see if it is in correctly or not. Took me about 10 min to figure out why it wasn't going back in right.
