My Problem
Daughter droped her 4th gen Touch and the screen cracked. It still worked so I decided to try to replace the screen.
My Fix
Followed the instructions in ifixit site. Also watched youtube videos. Repair went smooth without problems.
My Advice
The repair is tricky so you need to be where you can focus and not be distracted. Compare notes and advise from various sites. I found that a metal splunger worked better than the plastic opening tool.
