My old back up laptop couldn't 'remember' the date/time/netwo
My Fix
The repair went very well. The instructions were accurate and easy to follow. The Pro Tech Toolkit along with the Magnetic Project Mat meant that I had the right tools and ability to keep the screws organized -- a huge improvement over my old tools.
My Advice
Make sure that you get the trackpad ribbon cable above the locking bar. I didn't get it exactly right the first time and had to redo it (the computer wouldn't boot).
