My Problem
Battery would not hold a charge for more than a couple of days, even without use.
My Fix
Took about 15 minutes. Went smoothly for the most part.
My Advice
Two tricky bits for me:
- To get the plastic top and bottom off, find the thinnest, smoothest screwdriver blade you have, in order to avoid scratching (or even bending) the aluminum case or denting the edge of the plastic. Do not twist the screwdriver when inserting the blade or when prying.
- When sliding the board and new battery back into the case, it may take several tries, as there is not much room and something always seems to catch. Try it at several different angles, and do not push hard.
