My Problem
Opened the battery door too many times with checking alignment so that latches were bent so it won't close properly.
My Fix
Tried to bend back the latches several time but eventually the latches broke so I ordered a replacement from iFixit
My Advice
Ensure you alignment of the battery door and the case.
