My Problem

The Galaxy Tab was dropped from a car to the street, someone probably drove over it.

My Fix

The directions on the ifixit web site were not always clear since I've not done anything like this before. But I got through it!

My Advice

First remove the micro SD Card so it won't get damaged or interfere with the case removal. The directions were not clear that the clips are in the case and engage tabs on the motherboard, that's why you have to pry the case back to free them.

The directions stopped before separating the digitizer/screen from the LCD. I used a hobby knife to follow the adhesive and it separated easily. then I gently removed all the old adhesive from the LCD. The new digitizer/screen has adhesive in place so you just remove the separater sheet and put it all back together.
