My Problem
Left laptop in cold car and screen went bad. Tried to just replace inverter thing, but that wasn't it. Had to do the big LCD replacement.
My Fix
SMOOOOOOTH! ifixit is great! Got the part(s), the tools and clear, well-written, well-depicted directions and fixed my Macbook. It was weirdly fun and gratifying.
