My Problem
Needed to upgrade my wife's old MacBook to Lion and she only had 512MB of RAM which didn't meet minimum requirements.
My Fix
Super smooth thanks to the ifixit guide. I'm not a mac guy but ifixit's guide made it extremely easy to identify which RAM chip I needed to purchase and how to install it. Also, ifixit sold the RAM chip for 50% cheaper than the Mac store in downtown San Luis Obispo.
My Advice
If I knew the repair experience would be this easy I would have done it a while ago.
