Stories

My Problem

iPhone was dying randomly, sometimes w/ 35% to 40% battery life left. Very Frustrating. Apple checked, said Battery was going.

My Fix

no problem. Piece of cake. Seems to have resolved the random iPhone dying issue.

My Advice

nope....

My Problem

Broken Glass on the back of my iPhone.

My Fix

Very simply, no dramas.

My Advice

Remember to remove the tiny piece of plastic film from the inside of the new cover at the camera lense location. Otherwise your camera shots will be forever blurry.

My Problem

Dropped phone - broken glass. Phone is 2+ years old so battery doesn't hold a charge as long

My Fix

Repairs were easy. I was surprised that the battery didn't make much of a difference but at $40 total, so be it.

My Advice

Be careful when replacing the battery. The directions only cover dissasembly (and that is pretty much all you need) but when the piece they warn you about falls off, you have to have really paid attention to everything to figure out the exact way it goes back in. It isn't "rocket surgery" but pay attention cause the pictures aren't much help.

My Problem

Broken back glass and when I took this off noticed the repair guy I used last didn't put any screws back in.

My Fix

Super easy repair and everything fit perfectly!

My Advice

Don't be afraid to try and repair it yourself.

My Problem

Rear glass broken

My Fix

Good - Thx
