MacBook Pro Left Fan Grinding Noise

My Problem

The left fan on my MacBook Pro has been making noise for months and finally started sounding like an ice crusher.

My Fix

The repair took about 90 minutes from start to finish. There are a lot of tiny screws.

My Advice

Set up a well-lit area and be sure to segregate each of the groups of screws as you remove them.
